Medical Program
The medical program at Saint Peter’s Adult Day Center ensures your loved one can participate in our social activities safely and comfortably. Personalized care is the cornerstone of the program. Our team of registered nurses, professional nursing assistants, occupational and physical therapists, registered dietitian and social worker help each client achieve their highest potential. One-on-one attention nurtures self esteem and helps clients maintain or improve their cognitive and physical abilities.
Our professional staff works with clients on memory, socialization, rehabilitation, and daily living skills. We also work closely with primary care givers and family physicians to ensure a continuum of care between the client’s home environment and the day center. In addition to daily nutritious meals, companionship and therapeutic recreation, nursing services range from blood pressure checks to medication management. We take clients to their local doctor and therapy appointments, if needed, and offer transportation to and from home for those who live within an eight-mile radius of the center.
