Saint Peter’s University Hospital offers the community a variety of free health-related lectures, health education programs and classes, medical screenings, and support groups.
Community Mobile Health Services
The Saint Peter's University Hospital Community Mobile Health Services (CMHS) team of advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and technicians travels throughout central New Jersey visiting schools, retirement communities, homeless shelters, shopping centers and businesses, often bringing healthcare services to areas where there is limited access. The community-based programs offered include breast, prostate and skin cancer screenings and education, height, weight and body mass index measurements and stroke risk assessment.
Community Mobile Health Services serves as a healthcare resource in Middlesex and Somerset counties and beyond. Community Mobile Health Services staff visits an average of 300 different sites each year and provides health-related services and referrals to approximately 16,000 individuals annually.
Speaker’s Bureau
Saint Peter's Speakers Bureau is an educational service provided to schools, senior centers, community organizations and other groups. Healthcare professionals from Saint Peter's offer informative presentations on almost any health topic. Our speakers have expertise in such areas as disease prevention and treatment, infection control, nutrition and exercise, wound care, and pain control.

There is no fee for this community service. We try to accommodate all requests, but please allow us at least four weeks to make arrangements for a speaker.
