Emphasis is on most commonly seen cases in the USMLE Step 2 CS, which will prepare you for any case you encountered during the exam. Because all of our residents have recently taken their Step 2 CS exams, we provide you with the most realistic scenarios to expect during the exam.

This is the only center in the United States.  The two-week comprehensive exam preparation is provided under expert guidance.  Preparation includes clinical observership in both inpatient and outpatient settings, making it possible to consolidate your CS prep by teaching and assessing clinical skills.

Opportunity to obtain letters of recommendation from Residency Program attending physician.

Our unique CS preparation involves two weeks of inpatient and outpatient experience at Saint Peter's University Hospital. This is equivalent to an observership and students are provided with a letter of participation from program director,Dr. Nayan Kothari. Students also have the opportunity to ask for additional letters of recommendation from other attending physicians they may have shadowed.

 

Live lectures in classroom setting training candidates for both step 2 CS as well as interview preparation for residency.

During the two-week preparatory course, there are dedicated sessions for interview preparation as well as road to residency. Interact with current residents to get first-hand information about the road to residency. Prepare for upcoming interview by polishing your communication and personal skills.
 

Choice of completing clinical observership prior to and after the simulated real-time CS exam.

Students have the option to take the exam either before or after the educational course. This is done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Who May Enroll?

We offer competitive enrollment and prefer candidates who have passed USMLE Step 1 on their first attempt.
