The Drexel University College of Medicine/Saint Peter's University Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program selects eligible applicants based on their preparedness, aptitude, academic credentials, personal characteristics and ability to communicate. In the process of selecting residents, the program shall not discriminate against any candidate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
International Medical Graduates (IMG's) must have a valid ECFMG certificate. (by rank day)

Application Process
- Saint Peter’s University Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service.
- Completed copy of ERAS Application Form.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- International Medical Graduates must have a valid ECFMG certificate including the CSA examination. (by rank day)
- No U.S. clinical experience is required.
- Passing USMLE Exams 1 & 2 (CS & CK) – prefer 1st attempt (all step exams must be released by rank day for the NRMP match)
- USMLE transcripts must be downloaded thru ERAS
- Certified copy of medical school transcripts (when available).
- Copy of Medical School diploma or verification of graduation from the medical school (when available).
- We do not have a graduation cut-off year
- Deans Letter
- Applications should include 3 letters of reference.
- Personal statement
- We currently accept J1 and H1 visas – to HIGHLY qualified candidates; however, applicants are responsible for all fees. We also accept EAD.
- Candidates selected for interview will receive a letter of invitation for interview.
- Interviews are typically held between November through January.
- The Interview Day consists of meeting with program officials and current residents, and a tour of the facility.
- Application Deadline: December 31.
