The Saint Peter’s University Hospital/ Drexel University College of Medicine, Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is designed to provide a structured educational environment, which allows for the professional development of suitably qualified physicians to confidently and skillfully be prepared for their anticipated role as primary-care providers in the practice of general obstetrics and gynecology. Our program cultivates an interest and enthusiasm for a career in academic medicine, by championing the concept of life long learning. The program is aware that some residents may plan on further training in fellowship programs, and to this end we provide all residents with clinical experiences and didactic background in the boarded subspecialties within our discipline.
