2017 Saint Peter's Foundation Gala

At Saint Peter's University Hospital, thousands of individuals work together to deliver the highest-quality care to our patients by addressing their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. With the commitment of physicians and nurses, our administration and support staff, and volunteers, we strive to fulfill our mission of providing the best medical care while preserving the dignity and sacredness of each life.

Thanks in large part to the philanthropic support that Saint Peter's University Hospital receives from members of the community, the hospital is able to maintain this promise and expand our healthcare programs.

Saint Peter's has had the privilege of treating many patients, using extraordinary care that requires a great deal of financial resources. When you make an unrestricted gift to the Sister Marie de Pazzi Annual Fund, you help ensure that we can provide the support needed to keep all our programs strong, from neonatology and pediatrics to oncology and ambulatory services. Your generosity strengthens our commitment to offering the finest in health care, technology, research, teaching and so much more.

Donations to Saint Peter’s are used to support a variety of programs, ensuring that we continue to provide excellent care to our patients and their families. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Sister Marie de Pazzi Annual Fund gifts are directed to the Annual Fund and are unrestricted, providing  the Foundation the flexibility to meet the healthcare system’s most urgent and sometimes unforeseen needs.

Capital Improvement Fund gifts are restricted, and only to be used for renovation and capital needs such as renovated patient care areas or state-of-the-art medical equipment.

Nursing Excellence Fund gifts made are used for educational opportunities for nurses to pursue advanced nursing degrees, attend nursing specialty conferences/seminars and provide funding to nursing staff who wish to conduct research studies.

You may direct your donation to a specific nursing unit or program within Saint Peter’s Healthcare System -- for example, Oncology, the Intensive Care Unit, The Children’s Hospital.

Angels of Caring

Nurses, physicians, radiologists, technicians, housekeeping staff, food service and so many more; every day, our team of caregivers pledges to help every single person who needs us. They are our Angels of Caring. By making a donation in honor of these dedicated professionals, you’ll help us uphold our commitment to providing families like yours with the very highest standard of care. With every donation, we will send a card on your behalf thanking your Angel for his or her valued role in your or your loved one’s care. The amount of your gift will not be disclosed but your words of appreciation will be shared.

Memorials and Commemorative Gifts

Memorials and commemorative gifts to Saint Peter's are meaningful ways to honor the special people in our lives, both living and deceased. These gifts support Saint Peter’s in its work of ministering to the sick, and contributions are acknowledged throughout the hospital.

  • The Children of God Tree of Life is more than a work of art—it is a work of love and life. The bronze leaves and stones on this beautifully hand-carved sculpture bear the names of people remembered with love. Each donation represented on the sculpture supports the tiny infants who begin life in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

  • A special fund designated for the Monsignor James A. Harding Oncology Unit ensures that our cancer patients receive the very best state-of-the-art oncology care. Contributors are recognized on a special dedication wall in the unit.

  • Tree of Life at Saint Peter's Adult Medical Day Care Center is located at our center in Monroe Township. Giving opportunities include the Bronze Leaf, Gold Leaf, Acorn and Dove, and proceeds support the special programs and care given to our senior and disabled clients. Donors can remember special people or events that have shaped our lives.

  • The Quilt of Hope hangs not far from the entrance of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital. It is a mural that provides donors with the opportunity to honor a loved one or member of the hospital staff and is made up of plates of three different sizes which can be engraved with your message of honor or thanks. All proceeds from donations will benefit the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.

Saint Peter’s Healthcare System has joined the Giving Tuesday movement. Giving Tuesday, an international day of giving, is held annually on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving. Individuals, corporations, and foundations from all over the globe unite for one common cause: to give back.
