The Margaret McLaughlin McCarrick Care Center is located in Somerset, New Jersey, two miles from Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Both are members of the Saint Peter’s Healthcare System.
The Center is nestled on ten wooded acres with peaceful rolling hills surrounding it. Residents can enjoy the large outdoor patio with their family and friends. Our goal is to provide compassionate, loving care in a comfortable, home-like environment. We are safety conscious, and so our facility is equipped with a wander guard system that complements our fall risk programs. Our residents live in rooms that have adequate lighting, hand rails and easy-to-read clocks, while our lounges have color televisions and reading materials available in large print.
We make it easy for residents to maintain their personal care and appearance. Each room has a half bath, closet for personal belongings and a night table. Each living area has two tub/shower rooms as well as whirlpool baths. A combination beauty/barber shop offers hairstyling on a weekly basis.
