McCarrick Care Center offers physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy services. Therapy is provided six days a week in our well-equipped gym. Each of our therapists is licensed and highly skilled at evaluating residents with disabilities and establishing realistic goals for them to achieve so as to ensure the best quality of living.
The following short term sub-acute rehabilitation services are available:
- Post-operative general surgery
- Post-operative cardiac surgery
- Post-operative orthopedic surgery
- Respiratory care
- Wound care/ostomy care
- IV antibiotic therapy
- Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) therapy
- Tracheostomy care
- Gastrostomy tube feeding care
- Stroke rehabilitation
- Pain management/PCA pump
- Dietician and personalized meal planning
- Social work services: family counseling and discharge planning by licensed clinical social workers
