Cancer.gov – National Cancer Institute
Patient and health professional information on Cancer.

Clinicaltrials.gov – National Library of Medicine
Public information about clinical research studies.

Genetics Home Reference (www.ghr.nlm.nih.gov) – National Library of Medicine
Information about genetic conditions and the genes responsible for those conditions provides summary descriptions of genetic conditions, symptoms, diagnostic processes and treatment options.

HealthyNJ.org – University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey
Developed to meet the health care information needs of consumers, particularly the citizens of New Jersey.

Lab Tests Online (labtestsonline.org) – American Association for Clinical Chemistry
Provides helpful information for understanding why a test might be given, how to interpret its results, and what kind of sample or specimen is required to perform the test.

Autism Resources

In September 2007, the Medical Library was awarded a $1,100 contract from LibraryLinkNJ, formerly known as Infolink, to implement the project, “Welcoming Library Spaces for the Autism Community and Their Families.” With this award, the Medical Library purchased books on autism and autism spectrum disorders.
