To examine the role of faith and the importance of support in responding to and dealing with end-of-life decisions.
To raise awareness about the various outreach resources that are available to people dealing with disability and/or terminal illness.
To review the dangers of doctor-prescribed suicide and to unmask the true meaning of “death with dignity.”
To discuss public policy and faith and to raise awareness about the current threats to religious liberty and rights of conscience.
To reflect on the Christian meaning of suffering in the face of disability, illness or at end-of-life.
To build an understanding that reaching out to those who are vulnerable, including the unborn, the terminally ill, the frail elderly and those living with disabilities is necessary for a healthy society and helps to build a world where human life is always loved and respected and an environment of hope.
To gather and celebrate the gift of life in prayer and fellowship.
