Saint Peter's Sports Medicine Institute's licensed physical therapists can assess your child athlete for possible risk of injury.
Using Move2Perform+FMS they can…
- Identify an athlete’s strengths and weaknesses
- Assess risk of injury
- Compare an athlete to norms for their age
- Prescribe corrective exercises and stretches
This screening takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes.

Staff Therapist
Chuck is a graduate of The College of New Jersey. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). While at UMDNJ, Chuck was recognized for outstanding performance for the work he did during his clinical affiliations. He also received special recognition for his work with persons with serious mental illness. Chuck has worked as an anatomy teaching assistant at UMDNJ, and given guest lectures on treatments for post-concussion syndrome.
Chuck is experienced in orthopedic, sport and vestibular therapy. He is the program director of the Saint Peter’s Sports Medicine Move2Perform Program, a screening and assessment tool used to identify impaired movement patterns; determine an athlete’s risk of injury; and provide an exercise program specifically tailored to reducing the likelihood of injury and enhancing performance.

Assistant Director
Meredith is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, where she received her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science degree in Rehabilitation Science. While in school, she was selected to present at National and International APTA Meetings for a Masters Project entitled A Multifaceted Physical Therapy Program to Address the Behavioral Aspects of a Woman with Multiple Sclerosis. Her professional experience has been primarily in outpatient orthopedics, but has also worked with inpatient acute care patients. Meredith is also the program director for the PEP Program, which is an ACL injury prevention and sports enhancement program for young athletes.
Athletes, coaches and parents could then work to minimize the risk of injury.
