Journals may also be searched by subject. If we don't have the article you need in either an electronic or print format, you may request the article from us through interlibrary loan (ILL).  If there is not an ILL electronic form available on the article page in the database, then click on the Library Service Request Forms. Complete the Article Request Form; one form per article requested.

Depending on how many articles you need, you may prefer to stop by the Medical Library during normal business hours, fill out one Interlibrary Loan form and give us the list of articles you need. You may also email or fax the list to us with your contact information. We will then contact you for additional information we may need.

CURRENT AWARENESS SEARCH SERVICE

To help keep you up to date with new developments in your field, the Medical Library can provide you with an updated bibliography each month, on the topic(s) of your choice. This is called the Current Awareness Search Service. Together, the patron and the Medical Librarian will establish a search strategy. The patron will then automatically receive weekly e-mail messages containing all new citations retrieved. The patron may request any article. Medical library staff will either photocopy the article or request it via interlibrary loan. Those who would like assitance in formulating a search strategy may contact the medical library at mlibrary@saintpetersuh.com. Individuals with existing Current Awareness may request a revision of their search strategy at any time.
