Community Mobile Health Services

The Saint Peter's University Hospital Community Mobile Health Services team of advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and technicians travels throughout central New Jersey visiting schools, retirement communities, homeless shelters, shopping centers and businesses, often bringing health care services to areas where there is limited access.
Services provided by Community Mobile Health Services include: 
- Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings
- Breast, prostate, and skin cancer screenings and health education
- Cholesterol screenings
- Depression screenings
- Follow-up health care
- Health care education
- Height, weight and body mass index measurements
- Immunizations and Mantoux testing
- Nutrition counseling
- Osteoporosis screenings
- Physical examinations
- Referrals for community health care
- Stress management
- Stroke risk assessment
Our Community Mobile Health Services staff travels in a 34-foot mobile health van.
