Saint Peter’s University Hospital, a member of the Saint Peter’s Healthcare System, is a non profit, acute care hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Approximately 6,000 babies are delivered at Saint Peter’s each year, making it one of the busiest and most experienced maternity programs in New Jersey.
As a state designated acute care children’s hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital offers a full range of pediatric healthcare services for newborns and children through young adulthood. The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s operates one of the largest, most advanced neonatal intensive care units in the country as a state designated Regional Perinatal Center. Our Regional Perinatal Center is renowned throughout the state for the exceptional level of high risk maternity and neonatal care we provide.
