The Saint Peter’s Urgent Care Center in Skillman, staffed by board certified physicians and licensed practical nurses, is open to children and adults 365 days a year.
Doctors trained in emergency medicine treat lacerations, minor sports and orthopedic injuries, colds, coughs, fever, asthma, back pain and sore throats. Lab and X-ray technicians work on the premises to perform diagnostic tests such as strep and flu cultures, blood sugar samples and X-rays.
The center, located at 1378 Route 206, in The Village Shoppes at Montgomery, is open from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. No appointments are necessary.
Patients with serious medical conditions such as chest pain or major trauma should still seek medical attention at the Saint Peter’s University Hospital Emergency Department at 254 Easton Avenue, in New Brunswick.
