Michael Hochberg, MD
Dr. Michael Hochberg is chairman of emergency medicine at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Previously, he was medical director of emergency services at UMass Memorial Health Care Center in Massachusetts, and an emergency medicine physician at Lawrence Hospital, Jacobi and Montefiore Medical Centers in New York. Nationally, Dr. Hochberg is well known and respected in the Society of Academic Emergency Medicine, chairing one of its most prominent committees. He is widely published on the subject of acute headache disorders and migraine treatment in the emergency department. He is currently seeking his academic appointment as a clinical associate professor of emergency medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, after having served on the emergency medicine faculty at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. A valedictorian of his undergraduate class at Pace University, he received his Doctorate in Medicine from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, both in New York; and completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Jacobi/Montefiore Medical Centers where he was chief resident. Dr. Hochberg is board certified in emergency medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Miriam S. Anannab, MD
Dr. Miriam Anannab is board certified in internal medicine and emergency medicine.
She served as chief resident in both emergency medicine and internal medicine/pediatrics at Morristown Memorial Hospital while completing her emergency medicine and internal medicine/pediatrics residencies there. She graduated with bachelor’s and medical degrees from Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CUNY Medical School, City College, New York, NY. Most recently, Dr. Anannab served as an emergency medicine physician at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Previously she was an emergency medicine physician at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank and at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ. Named Physician of the Year in 2008 at Saint Peter’s, Dr. Anannab is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Society of Internal Medicine.
Scott H. David, DO
Dr. Scott H. David graduated from S.U.N.Y at Stonybrook, NY, with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine at New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury, NY, with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He completed a rotating medical internship at the Sister’s of Charity Hospital/University of Buffalo in Buffalo, NY, and a three-year emergency medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in New York. Dr. David has held positions in the emergency departments at Brick, Point Pleasant and Jersey Shore hospitals in central/southern New Jersey, Atlantic City Medical Center, St. Clare’s Hospital/Denville, Hoboken University Medical Center, Community Medical Center/Toms River, Deborah Hospital/Browns Mills, NJ, and at St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital in New York. In addition he served as outpatient medical director for a multi-office medical and urgent care practice in southern New Jersey. Most recently, he has been in private practice.
Fernando Guerrero, MD
Dr. Fernando Guerrero received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, both in Newark, NJ. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at Lincoln Hospital, Bronx, NY. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Guerrero most recently served as assistant medical director at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Rahway. Previously, he was a member of the medical staffs at Ocean Medical Center in Brick and Point Pleasant, Southern Ocean County Hospital in Manahawkin, Atlantic City Medical Center, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank and Hackensack University Medical Center, all in New Jersey. Richa Kathuria, MD
Dr. Richa Kathuria graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in engineering science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. She then received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ, and completed her emergency medicine residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Board certified in emergency medicine, Dr. Kathuria has been an emergency medicine physician at Ocean Medical Center in Brick and at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, NJ. Daniel Oscislawski, MD
Dr. Daniel Oscislawski, who is board certified in emergency medicine, most recently served as medical director/chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine at St. Francis Medical Center, Trenton, NJ. Previously, he served as medical director of the Trenton EMS and Air Medical Transport for Monmouth Ocean Hospital Service Corporation, Neptune, NJ, and as assistant medical director of the Emergency Department at Centrastate Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. He was a member of the Central Jersey Emergency Medical Associates, a single-hospital private group in Freehold, NJ, and served as an emergency medical physician at Englewood Hospital in New Jersey and at Allegheny University Hospital in Warminster, PA. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, after completing a seven-year accelerated BS/MD program. He then received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ, and then completed a residency in emergency medicine at Detroit Receiving Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center affiliated with Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, where he served as chief resident. He received a Master in Business Administration degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. Michael F. Polise, DO
Dr. Michael Polise graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, with a Doctor of Osteopathy degree. He then completed a residency in family practice at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Most recently, Dr. Polise was medical director for the Department of Case Management and Utilization Review at Virtua Health System, as well as a staff physician in the hospital’s emergency department. Dr. Polise is a diplomate of the American Board of Emergency Physicians, the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review.
Martin I. Pollack, MD
Dr. Martin Pollack graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Brooklyn College and a medical degree from State University of New York at Downstate Medical School, both in Brooklyn, NY. He completed a residency in internal medicine and an internship in internal medicine at The Staten Island Hospital, New York. Harvey Rosen, MD
Dr. Harvey Rosen has served as an emergency medicine physician at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, and St. Clare’s Hospital in Sussex, NJ. Randy Tartacoff, MD
Dr. Randy Tartacoff graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, and then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He completed an internship in surgery at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, and an orthopedics residency at Einstein Hospital and an emergency medicine residency at Lincoln Hospital, both in Bronx, NY. Dr. Tartacoff most recently served as director of the Emergency Department at Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck, NJ. Dr. James Thomas graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook, with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, both in Long Island, New York, with a Degree of Osteopathy. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY, and an internship at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
