STRATEGIES FOR AN EASIER BIRTH CLASS

FREE CLASS 

(Volunteers Needed for a Research Project Focused on Coping with Early Labor)

 

IF YOU ARE PREGNANT WITH YOUR FIRST BABY AND WANT TO LEARN EARLY LABOR COPING SKILLS, YOU MAY BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS RESEARCH STUDY.

 

Eligibility criteria for the study:

Women 18 to 40 years of age

Pregnant with first baby in third trimester

Willing to attend an early labor coping class

Plan to give birth at Saint Peter's University Hospital and enrolled in Prepared Childbirth or Hypnobirthing Class.

Participants can participate in a FREE 2-hour prenatal education class that focuses on managing early labor at home.

ATTENTION: Due to COVID19, please be advised that during this time for the safety of our patients, all our expectant parent classes will be held remotely. You will receive a packet of literature and a link closer to the start date of your class. It is critical to provide an email address and home address that is valid where all significant information will be sent. Thank you.

This class is offered Tuesday from: 7 pm - 9 pm.

Partner attendance is strongly encouraged.

The fee is FREE.
