Childbirth Classes cover all aspects of the later part of pregnancy, labor, delivery and the post delivery period. Instruction includes: the general principles of relaxation, support person's role, focusing and breathing techniques, medications and anesthesia and comfort measures to be used during labor.
All instructors are registered nurses and childbirth instructors.
Prepared Childbirth classes should be taken during the last two months of pregnancy, but early registration is necessary as classes fill up quickly.
Please bring water.
Please bring Lunch (Lunch will not be provided)
Please bring exercise ball (ball size 5'8 and under 65cm ball, 5'9 and over 75 cm ball)
