Saint Peter's to host health fairs in eight adult communities in Monroe

NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – Saint Peter’s Healthcare System will host eight health fairs this spring for adult communities in Monroe. 

Those dates, times and locations are:

- Monday, May 4, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Whittingham
- Thursday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Concordia
- Tuesday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rossmoor
- Thursday, May 21, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Encore
- Monday, June 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stonebridge
- Wednesday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Clearbrook
- Monday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Ponds
- Tuesday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Regency

Screenings will include those for blood pressure, blood sugar, bone density, body mass index, foot problems, and blood oxygen levels. Attendees can also access nutrition counseling and massages as well as dispose of their old medications and old hearing aids.

The N.J. Office of Veterans’ Affairs will be on hand at all locations to inform veterans about benefits eligibility. Other services and vendors will vary per location, but include:

- Screenings for balance and hearing.
- Seniors will be able to bring their questions about breast health and diet to physicians.
- Information about orthopedic shoes, mobility devices, day care, wound care, hospice care, sleep troubles, urology problems, physical therapy, assisted living, home care services, rehabilitation, healthy cooking, senior health insurance, durable medical equipment, medical supplies,  eye glass adjustment, oral health, dental implants, diabetes care, and Jewish Family and Vocational Service of Middlesex County. Vendors will also include the New Jersey Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and JFK Rehab.
