The Society of Bedside Medicine is a global community of physician educators dedicated to bedside teaching and improving physical examination and diagnostic skills. The society aims to foster a culture of bedside medicine and patient-centered care through deliberate practice and teaching by encouraging innovation in education and research on the role of the clinical encounter in 21st century medicine.
Board members of the Society of Bedside Medicine were particularly impressed with the commitment Dr. Kothari has demonstrated at Saint Peter’s through his education and practice of bedside clinical skills. The board is looking forward to facilitating Dr. Kothari’s interests in clinical skills assessments and hosting an East Coast clinical skills conference on behalf of SBM.
“Dr. Kothari has been a valuable asset to Saint Peter’s University Hospital, teaching future generations of physicians for decades,” said Leslie D.
