Patient Journey through the CRP

If you have recovered from COVID-19 but are still experiencing persistent symptoms you should contact the COVID-19 Recovery line at 732-745-8552 or email COVID19Recovery@saintpetersuh.com; someone will contact you.

To contact the COVID-19 Recovery Program, click here.

Your initial screening will be done via phone by one of our COVID-19 Recovery Program representative. This will allow us to conduct a baseline assessment and determine a course of action to help you get on the road to recovery.

If it is determined that additional tests or services are needed, we will schedule you an appointment, via telemedicine or in-person, with one of our COVID recovery physicians.

Based on your physician consultation, referrals may be made for further specialist care, including physical therapy, pulmonologists, neurologists, cardiologists, or gastroenterologists.

A program coordinator will be available to assist you every step of the way.

The coordinator will monitor your recovery and care, follow-up on lab work, tests, and appointments, and ensure the necessary support systems are in place to aid in your journey to recovery. This may include connections to mental/behavioral health support, or other social services.

“While some patients feel better sooner, there are others that are experiencing lasting symptoms. To complicate matters, these symptoms can vary in intensity and duration from patient to patient; what we’ve noticed is that no two cases present the same.”

– Amar Bukhari, MD
