James Gervasoni Dr
James E. Gervasoni, Jr. Phd, MD, FACS
Dr. Gervasoni treats complex abdominal tumors of the colon and rectum, pancreas, bile duct, liver, esophagus, stomach, melanoma and sarcomas. He is an expert in cystoreductive surgery/hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC). Dr. Gervasoni is vice chairman of the Department of Surgery at Saint Peter’s University Hospital and is an associate professor of surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.

Dr. Christian treats complex abdominal pathology, concentrating specifically on pancreatic and liver tumors.  This includes tumors metastatic to the liver that originated in the colon and rectum, as well as primary tumors of the pancreas.  He also treats other benign pathology of both liver and biliary disease, including both chronic and acute pancreatitis, primary and secondary stones of the bile duct and liver. He is an expert in hyperthermic intraperiotoneal chemotherapy (CRC/ HIPEC). He is an associate professor of surgery at Rutgers –Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and serves as site director for the New Jersey Medical School Surgery Residence Program.
