Dr. Ashgan Elshinawy
Ashgan Elshinawy, DO
Dr. Elshinawy is the facilities director of the Center for Sleep and Breathing Disorders at Saint Peter’s.  She is board certified in pulmonary medicine, sleep medicine and internal medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree from New York University and graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Osteopathic Medicine, now Rowan University. After completing her residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, she completed a pulmonary fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and a fellowship in sleep at New York University Medical Center
 
 
Dr. Amar Bukhari
Amar Bukhari, MD
Dr. Bukhari is chief of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Saint Peter's University Hospital.  Dr. Bukhari received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University. He completed his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School. After completing his residency in internal medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, he went on to complete a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Bukhari practices pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine. He is chair of the Ethics Committee at Saint Peter's and has a particular interest in end-of-life care across the cultural and religious spectrum
 
 
Dr. Douglas Frenia
Douglas Frenia, MD
Dr. Frenia is a pulmonologist board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. Dr. Frenia heads the Saint Peter's University Hospital Lung Screening Program, which provides a multidisciplinary approach to the prevention, detection, and treatment of lung cancer.

Before completing his medical degree with high honors from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, he received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Rutgers School of Pharmacy, also with high honors. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base, an affiliate of the University of California-Davis School of Medicine. Dr. Frenia also completed a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Walter Reed Medical Center, Washington, D.C.

Dr. Frenia is a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force who received distinguished service awards during his 16 years of service, including two deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.  

Dr. Frenia has published research in pulmonary medicine and has served on the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Academic Committee and the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC.) He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
 
 
Carmen Negron-gonzalez
Carmen Negron-Gonzalez, RST, is a licensed registered sleep technologist with the Sleep Center. She speaks Spanish and English.
 
Magda Soliman
Magda Soliman, RST, is a licensed registered sleep technologist with the Sleep Center.  She speaks English and Arabic.
 
Ritchwell Suayan
Ritchwell Suayan, RPSGT, is a registered polysomnographic technologist. He speaks English and Tagalog. 

 
 
Rhonda McLemore, RPSGT, CSE, is a registered polysomnographic technologist and  clinical sleep educator.
