As a state-of-the-art facility, the CARES Surgicenter serves each patient with the highest standard of care in a comfortable and professional atmosphere and is dedicated to meeting your healthcare needs. Our staff makes patients’ visits as pleasant as possible, providing care in a warm, friendly, personalized and professional setting. In recognition of the high standard of care provided at the CARES Surgicenter, Newsweek magazine named it the “Best Ambulatory Surgery Center” in New Jersey in 2022.
We realize that any surgical experience can create anxiety, and we hope our center’s pleasant surroundings, as well as the individualized attention provided by our staff, will minimize the stress associated with surgery.

The CARES Surgicenter is located in the Center for Ambulatory Services at 240 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick, across from The Children's Hospital at Saint Peter's University Hospital. Complimentary parking is available for surgery patients in the lot located in the building.
With the exception of major holidays, the center is open five days a week, offering patients convenient flexible appointment times for procedures. To schedule a procedure, please contact your physician’s office who will assist you with making an appointment.

One Medical Passport is a secure website that allows you to enter your important healthcare information. Just fill out the questionnaire accurately, and be assured that all of your information is kept confidential and will be thoroughly reviewed by your medical team.
Billing
Billing and administrative departments are conveniently located directly within the CARES Surgicenter. Our financial team is here to assist you with any billing questions or issues that you may have. We provide a timely response to financial concerns.
Please be aware that our facility will initiate authorization and pre-verification of your procedure. If your insurance policy stipulates a co-insurance payment, or deductible, you are responsible for those payments. We participate with a broad panel of insurance providers for your convenience.
Patients who are scheduled for cosmetic procedures, or who do not have insurance coverage, are responsible for fees that are based on the length of their surgery. Please note that payment in full is required prior to your procedure. Our financial team is happy to provide help with any billing inquires that you have.
