Nicole Cernaro, PharmD Hi everyone! My name is Nicole Cernaro and I am very excited to be staying at SPUH for another year! I am originally from Rockland County, NY and completed my PharmD at St. John's University. I worked at Mount Sinai Hospital as a pharmacy intern for 3 years. My interests outside of pharmacy include traveling, exploring the city with friends, and trying new foods! |

Gabriela Alvarez, PharmD Gabriela was born and raised in East Brunswick, NJ. She attended Rutgers University - Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy and, prior to obtaining residency, worked for a community-based specialty pharmacy for 5 years. Her professional interests include pediatrics, emergency medicine and teaching. Outside of work, Gabriela loves watching ice hockey and is a huge New Jersey Devils fan, but also has a soft spot for the Anaheim Ducks and Edmonton Oilers. She also loves dogs and spending time with friends and family. |

Nicole Murtagh, PharmD Nicole is originally from Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, however, has spent most of her life in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She went to New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology before completing her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in May 2023. Nicole is currently completing her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, where she furthered her interest in pediatrics. She is excited to join the team at Saint Peter’s University Hospital for her pediatric PGY2 residency. In Nicole’s free time she enjoys baking, painting, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. |

Clara Samaan, PharmD Clara obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Rutgers University in 2016 and subsequently held a few positions. However, she soon realized that her passion lay in direct patient care and assisting individuals in a healthcare capacity. This realization led her to pursue a PharmD. In May 2024, Clara will be completing a PharmD and a Master of Health Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University, School of Pharmacy. Clara’s hobbies include traveling, reading, and dining out and trying different foods. |

Christina Cheng, PharmD Christina is originally from New York City but has since moved to Buffalo to attend the University at Buffalo. She completed her undergraduate course in 2020 and PharmD education at the UB School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2024. Throughout pharmacy school, she has worked at Rite Aid Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Intern. Christina's hobbies include traveling, hanging out with friends, and trying out new recipes. |
