Saint Peter’s University Hospital Ranked as One of Newsweek’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2022

New Brunswick, N.J. – May 11, 2022 – Saint Peter’s University Hospital, renowned for its comprehensive care of expectant mothers and newborns, has been recognized by Newsweek as one of the nation’s Best Maternity Hospitals for 2022. This prestigious award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on May 11 and can currently be viewed on Newsweek’s website.
Newsweek and Statista developed a complex methodology to ensure the quality and validity of the ranking. Three data sources were used for the evaluation:

- Medical key performance indicators (KPIs) on hospitals with a focus on indicators relevant to maternity care, including cesarean birth, breastfeeding and perinatal care
- Results from patient surveys
