Saint Peter’s Breast Center, a service of Saint Peter’s University Hospital, earned its sixth consecutive accreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) in 2025, placing the hospital among the nation’s elite in the level of comprehensive, multidisciplinary care and treatment available to breast cancer patients. Saint Peter’s Breast Center was the first breast center in central New Jersey to have earned a full three-year accreditation from the NAPBC, a program of the American College of Surgeons.
As a participant of the NAPBC, Saint Peter’s Breast Center has earned distinction as an American College of Surgeons Surgical Quality Partner. This designation recognizes that Saint Peter’s is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards in surgical care. Saint Peter’s Women’s Imaging Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
Saint Peter’s offers the most advanced technology, medications, and surgical procedures for a variety of other types of cancer via its comprehensive, full-service Cancer Center. Saint Peter’s Cancer Center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer as a Teaching Hospital Cancer Program.
