
James E. Gervasoni
James E. Gervasoni, MD, PhD, FACS, treats complex abdominal tumors of the colon and rectum, pancreas, bile duct, liver, esophagus, stomach, melanoma, and sarcomas. He is an expert in cytoreductive surgery/hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (CRS/HIPEC). He is skilled in performing thyroid and parathyroid surgery robotically through the da Vinci® Surgical System.
Dr. Gervasoni is vice chairman of the Department of Surgery at Saint Peter’s University Hospital and is an associate professor of Surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ), now Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences, and completed his residency at Mount Sinai Morningside in New York, NY.
