Saint Peter's Gianna Center provides general gynecological care, prenatal care, natural family planning education, and infertility services – all with a deep commitment to honoring a woman’s dignity and the sanctity of human life.
The Fertility Awareness Program at Saint Peter’s University Hospital began as an initiative to provide information and support to adolescents experiencing teen pregnancy and as a source of instruction in natural family planning for adults.
High-risk obstetrics are addressed as Saint Peter's Regional Perinatal Center and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). We are licensed and equipped to manage the most complicated, high-risk pregnancies and the most medically fragile newborns.
Our maternal-fetal medicine program provides advanced diagnostic testing and high-risk, pre- and postnatal care.
Saint Peter’s Women’s Imaging Center is accredited by the American College of Radiology as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and offers mammography and other diagnostic breast services, including stereotactic biopsy and needle localization, ultrasound, and bone density scanning for osteoporosis.
Saint Peter's delivers more babies than any other facility in central New Jersey, making us the premier hospital in our area for maternity services. Many community obstetricians choose to affiliate with Saint Peter's because of our specialized obstetrics and gynecology programs and experienced staff.

Women's Health Center

Women’s Health Center, located at Saint Peter’s Family Health Center in New Brunswick, offers obstetrical and gynecological care to women from primarily low-income (charity care and Medicaid), underserved communities. Comprehensive obstetrical care (prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care) is provided by board certified obstetricians in Saint Peter’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Services include nutritional counseling, ultrasound surveillance of fetal growth and development, and co-management with or referral to the Maternal Fetal-Medicine Division for risk factors that may develop during the pregnancy. Our patients account for approximately 1,500 deliveries per year, in addition to 19,000 obstetrical/gynecological outpatient visits per year.
