Dr. Arkady Broder, MD, AGAF, FACG, FASGE, is a highly accomplished gastroenterologist and the Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Saint Peter's University Hospital. He also serves as the Director of Endoscopy and the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program Director at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School – Saint Peter's University Hospital Campus. In addition to his leadership roles, Dr. Broder is the President of the New Jersey Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (NJSGE) and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Rutgers. His dedication to advancing patient care and medical education has established him as a leader in his field. With a strong academic background, Dr. Broder earned his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of medicine and has since pursued a career dedicated to gastroenterology, with interests in gastrointestinal research. His expertise spans advanced endoscopic procedures, patient-centered care, and medical education. Dr. Broder's contributions to the field are reflected in his leadership positions, commitment to innovation, and passion for mentoring the next generation of physicians.

Sugirdhana Velpari, MD

Dr. Sugirdhana Velpari is a dedicated and compassionate gastroenterologist based in East Brunswick and New Brunswick, NJ.  Dr. Velpari is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.  He completed both his internal medicine residency as well as his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  

Dr. Velpari is a part of Saint Peter's Healthcare and is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is associate program director of the Saint Peter's gastroenterology fellowship program.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society, American College of Gastroenterology, and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  He treats all aspects of gastroenterology and hepatology including but not limited to colon cancer prevention, gastro-esophageal reflux disease, esophageal motility disorders, celiac disease, hepatitis and cirrhosis, IBD, and functional bowel disorders. Outside of his practice, he enjoys traveling, spending time with his lovely wife and two children, and is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.    
 
Debra Goldstein
Debra Goldstein, M.D.,
Gastroenterologist
Dr. Goldstein trained at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and holds a clinical faculty position at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.  With more than 20 years of experience in clinical gastroenterology, she offers expert, quality care in such areas as irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease, as well as in routine colon cancer prevention and hepatitis treatment.  She sees patients at the Monroe Township office of Saint Peter’s Physician Associates and in the Center for Ambulatory Resources (CARES) in New Brunswick.
 
Luisa Recinos – Arenas, MD
Gastroenterologist  


Dr. Recinos-Arenas is originally from Guatemala and completed her medical school at Universidad Rafael Landivar in Guatemala City. She completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at Saint Peter’s University Hospital.  Her interests include colon cancer prevention and general gastrointestinal and hepatologic conditions. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology. 
 
Andrew Korman

Dr. Korman, a native of New Jersey, received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv, Israel. He completed his internal medicine training at Beth Israel Medical center where he served as chief medical resident. He then completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Beth Israel followed by a dedicated year of training in advanced therapeutic endoscopy with David Carr-Locke, MD. His research interests include pancreatic and biliary diseases. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  
 
Pitchumoni Capecomorin

Dr. Pitchumoni, is a professor at Rutgers University School of Medicine and adjunct professor of medicine at New York Medical College. He is a senior gastroenterologist with more than 40 years of clinical and research experience in a wide array of areas of gastroenterology, nutrition, and liver disease. He is internationally known and respected for his contributions to the body of knowledge, particularly in the field of pancreatic diseases.
