How to Apply for OB/GYN Residency Program
Selection Criteria
The Saint Peter's University Hospital Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology will select eligible applicants on the basis of their preparedness, aptitude, academic credentials, personal characteristics, and ability to communicate. In the process of selecting residents, the program shall not discriminate against any candidate with regard to sex, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
International medical graduates (IMGs) must have a valid ECFMG certificate and be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. permanent resident or obtain a J-1 Exchange Visitor Visa. No U.S. clinical experience is required. Please refer to the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates Web site for certification details: www.ecfmg.org.
- Completed copy of the ERAS Application Form
- Curriculum vitae (CV)
- Copy of Step 1, Step 2 and Step 3 USMLE scores
- Certified copy of medical school transcript
- Copy of medical school diploma or verification of graduation from the medical school
- Dean's letter
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- IMGs only: ECFMG certificate
