Saint Peter’s Community Resources

The Department of Population Health at Saint Peter's University Hospital strives to make our community healthier by bridging the gap between medicine and public health. It means making sure that everyone, no matter who they are, has a chance to live a long and good life. We do this by working with physicians, nurses and other healthcare providers to identify and address the health needs of our patients and provide resources.

We also work to reduce health disparities, which are differences in health status that are not due to individual choices. Disparities can occur across race and ethnicity, economic status, age, geography, language, gender, disability status, citizenship status, and more. At Saint Peter's, our goal is to help everyone in our community live the healthiest life possible, no matter their background or circumstances.
